Ćosić and Storrveldi Debut Sustainable Couture and Performance at Clärchens Ballroom

On July 4, 2026, Ida Ćosić (20, originally from Berlin) and Stjorn Revali (24, based in London) showcased their collaborative collection, 'Requiem for a Dream,' marking their debut at Berlin Fashion Week in the historic Clärchens Ballroom. This self-funded, independent show departed from conventional runway formats, blending sustainable couture with live music, burlesque, and classical ballet to create an immersive theatrical event. The production examined themes of modern societal issues, such as collective silence and digital isolation, featuring structured yet fantastical silhouettes alongside fluid movements. Utilizing second-hand materials, recycled textiles, and upcycled resources, the designers presented an experimental live score by musicians Sultan Hlal and Theo Edinger, complemented by performances from Iceland’s Ballet Axis and burlesque artists. The finale included a custom piece by Tobias Krüger and a live vocal performance by Maria Roi, concluding with an avant-garde techno soundscape reflecting Berlin’s cultural evolution.
