Concéntrico 2026: World's Biggest Small Architecture Festival Returns to Logroño
The international architecture and design festival, Concéntrico 2026, is set to occur in Logroño, Spain, from June 18 to June 23, 2026. Established in 2015 by architect Javier Peña Ibañez, the festival will showcase 24 installations crafted by 32 participants, all constructed at a 1:1 scale in various public locations throughout the city. This year's theme revolves around three curatorial concepts: Identity and Fiction, Urban Ecologies, and Ephemeral Agents. Noteworthy contributors include Smiljan Radić Clarke, the 2026 Pritzker Prize laureate, presenting 'Circo', and AAU Anastas with 'Cathedral for One'. The festival aims to foster activation and shared experiences, with a focus on climate adaptation and social engagement. Past highlights feature works like Pabellón 1973–2021 by Lanza Atelier.
