Coachella Music Festival to Debut 4K Live Streaming on YouTube with Interactive Features

For the first time, the Coachella music festival will be broadcast live in 4K resolution on YouTube, offering enhanced viewing options for remote audiences. The streaming platform will provide high-definition coverage of three primary performance areas: the Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, and Sahara. A specialized vertical feed captured using Google Pixel devices will be available for the Quasar stage, alongside traditional horizontal streaming. Google Pixel's Connected Cameras functionality enables multiple devices to link together for live transmission. YouTube will introduce a Multiview capability that permits simultaneous monitoring of up to four different stages with selectable audio sources. During the second weekend, a 'Watch With' function will allow fans to view performances alongside popular YouTube personalities such as Valkyrae, Terry, and Kaniyia. The festival organizers recommend enabling notifications on the official Coachella YouTube channel or downloading the dedicated Coachella Livestream application for mobile devices. The 2026 edition features headlining performances by Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G. All admission passes were purchased within seven days of the initial announcement, making the digital broadcast the sole access point for many interested viewers. The event spans two consecutive three-day periods, with the initial stream scheduled for April 10, 2026, at 4 PM Pacific Time.
