festival-fair · 2026-08-26

From September 25 to 27, 2026, the Centre national d'études spatiales (CNES) will host its first-ever Salon de l'extraterrestre at FORMA, located at 127 Rue de Turenne, Paris. Under the direction of astrophysicist Gérard Azoulay, the salon seeks to foster a thoughtful dialogue surrounding contemporary art and extraterrestrial subjects. Azoulay, who is the founder of the journal Espace(s) and manages the CNES contemporary art collection, clarifies that this event is not intended as a commercial exhibition. The inaugural edition will present works by 22 artists, including Michel Gouéry, Mary Sue, and Jeanne Susplugas, focusing on themes such as otherness and spirituality, across a 300 m² space on two levels.
