Christiaan Endeman's Mographic Aberration Motion Design Project

Christiaan Endeman initiated a personal creative endeavor called Mographic Aberration, which serves as a motion design-focused side project. The name derives from the optical phenomenon 'chromatic aberration,' adapted to reflect the project's emphasis on animated visual content. In December 2021, Endeman outlined his approach, noting that for several years prior, he had been producing renders on a semi-regular basis without strict thematic guidance. Starting in 2019, he aimed to adopt a monthly thematic structure, allowing each month to explore a distinct concept that could be interpreted in various forms. The inaugural theme for that period was chromatic aberration itself. Beyond personal enjoyment, the project's objective was to enhance Endeman's creative abilities by constraining himself to single themes, thereby fostering innovation in conceptualization, stylistic visualization, and narrative techniques within motion design. This initiative represents a structured artistic practice aimed at skill development through thematic consistency and experimental exploration.
