Chinese Dating App Liangpei Uses AI Interviews to Promise Marriage or Refund
Liangpei, a Chinese dating app, offers users a marriage guarantee backed by a money-back promise. The service conducts 20-minute AI interviews with each user and generates compatibility rankings to determine matches. Users on the platform are restricted to communicating with only one potential partner at a time. The app's matching process relies on artificial intelligence to assess compatibility rather than allowing users to browse or contact multiple prospects simultaneously. This single-match constraint, combined with the AI-driven interview and ranking system, forms the core of Liangpei's approach to pairing users. The app's promise of marriage — or a refund — distinguishes it from conventional dating platforms that offer no such guarantee. The report was published by Sixth Tone.
