British-Nigerian Filmmaker Akínolá Davies Jr. Releases Debut Feature Film

British-Nigerian artist Akínolá Davies Jr., previously known as a DJ and director for fashion houses, has released his first feature-length film titled 'Un jour avec mon père.' The work, which premiered in theaters on March 25, blends personal and historical narratives set in Lagos, Nigeria, where he spent his childhood. The film has received recognition at the Cannes festival and won awards at the BAFTA ceremonies.
