Bolzano Art Weeks 2026 Opens with Climate-Focused Sixth Edition
The sixth edition of the Bolzano Art Weeks commenced on September 25 and will continue until October 4, 2026, under the theme Regard(en)! Regreen! Regrow! This event features over eighty activities across more than fifty venues. Nina Stricker, the founder, mentioned that preparations began last year, emphasizing nature and communal spaces. Noteworthy events include Nadia Tamanini's Flora è contrariata, the flash mob Aufstand der Wälder by Climate Action Southtyrol, and Francesco Feltri's The Monument of Unmaking. On the second day, attendees enjoyed What Grows Between Us at the Südtiroler Künstlerbund studios, Theatrum Naturae at Vijion gallery, and Nataliya Zuban's Condition of Suspended Present at Ar/ge kunst. Upcoming highlights include Linda Jasmin Mayer's talk on October 1 and WOOPS's Sull'acqua! on October 3, culminating in the finissage on October 4.
