At CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas, an animated film based on the 2015 video game Bloodborne was revealed. The project, co-produced by YouTube star Jacksepticeye (Seán McLoughlin), is a collaboration between Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions, with a focus on preserving the essence of the game. Bloodborne, developed by FromSoftware, is renowned for its intricate combat mechanics and its dark Victorian atmosphere. While fans have been eager for a sequel, FromSoftware has shifted its attention to other projects, such as Elden Ring, which is also set to be adapted into a film. Additionally, attendees were treated to a trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, along with previews of Aaron Sorkin's The Social Reckoning and Jumanji: Open World.
