BlackRAW Studio App Brings Blackmagic RAW and ProRes RAW Color Grading to iPhone
BlackRAW Studio has introduced a new iPhone app aimed at filmmakers, enabling them to review, color grade, and edit videos in Blackmagic RAW and ProRes RAW formats. This application builds on the previous BlackRAW Visor. It supports various formats, including Blackmagic RAW, Apple ProRes RAW, standard ProRes, H.264, and HEVC, allowing quick prep of footage before deeper edits. Notable features include an easy-to-use timeline, shot markers, essential adjustments, and color wheels. Users can grade clips individually or for the whole timeline, import LUTs, and export color adjustments as .cube LUTs. Exports can be done in H.264, HEVC, or ProRes 422. The app is free, but exporting requires a Pro subscription costing $4.99/month, $39.99/year, or $69.99 for lifetime access.
