Berlin Art Week: Openings, Performances, and Festivals Aug 24–30, 2026
From August 24 to 30, 2026, Berlin will host a variety of art events. The KW Institute for Contemporary Art will feature an open studio by Anton Kats & Grounded Outer Space People from August 25 to 27, as part of the 'Kyiv Biennial. A Bird That Cannot Land' exhibition, which runs from June 11 to September 13, 2026. On August 27, attendees can experience 'Kollaborative Assemblagen / Hamburg' at Künstlerhaus Bethanien, while Felipe Fizkal's 'MONUMENTO' debuts at dock11. The Berlinische Galerie will present Josef Kaiser's 'Building for the GDR' exhibition, available until February 2, 2027. The 'MINSK LIVE' festival starts on August 28, followed by 'Exterra in the Air XX' at Gropius Bau on August 29. The Long Night of Museums takes place on the same day, with an entry fee of €23.
