Basel Satellite Fair June Cancels 2026 Edition
June, a boutique satellite art fair in Basel, will not hold its 2026 edition due to unforeseen changes in external partnerships. Co-founder Esperanza Rosales announced the decision as a strategic pause to refocus on the fair's future direction. The fair, launched in 2019 by Rosales (owner of VI, VII gallery in Oslo) and Christian Andersen (owner of Copenhagen's Christian Andersen gallery), typically hosts around 15 galleries, mostly small European ones. Last year's participants included Fabian Lang from Zurich and Charim from Vienna. Rosales expressed commitment to returning in 2027 with a refreshed edition.
