B-Murals Fest 2026 Turns Barcelona's Nau Bostik Into a Working Laboratory

Running October 7–10, the 2026 B-Murals Fest occupied Nau Bostik, the former industrial complex in Barcelona's La Sagrera district, where artists painted new murals while visitors tried graffiti, stickers, paste-ups and other image-making for themselves. Colectivo Monday staged a collective paste-up, Clara Nubiola led a laboratory examining how people observe and interpret public space, and Can Safari, Revorn, Malicia Walls and RavaleArt joined the program. Discussions, publications, video installations and music rounded out the schedule, alongside an XPIELLAX exhibition titled WHY YOU MAD? with a live performance. New walls came from Cecilia Astiazaran, Lionel David, Irenx Remon, Brunelo Moreno, Morcky, Blue Crab and Yves Gallard, documented by BSA contributor Lluis Olive-Bulbena. Long based at the complex, B-Murals has built its identity on exhibitions, experimentation, research and publishing rather than on filling empty walls, and the festival keeps process visible and categories open in a field where urban art easily becomes a promotional backdrop.
