Austin's Friends Fair Expands for Second Edition with More Galleries and Non-Commercial Spaces

festival-fair · 2026-03-20

The Friends Fair in Austin will hold its second edition from May 7-9 at the Loren Hotel Austin, featuring 17 exhibitors compared to 10 last year. The event includes an opening preview on May 7 followed by public days. Four of the five original Austin galleries are returning, including Martha's and McLennon Pen Co., along with new participants from various cities. Two rooms will host non-commercial presentations by Co-Lab Projects and University of Texas MFA students. Organizers cite strong community support and gallery interest as reasons for expansion.
