Assembly Art Fair Launches in Seattle as Curated Alternative to Convention-Style Fairs

The Assembly Art Fair is set to debut in Seattle from July 22 to 26, 2026, coinciding with the Seattle Art Fair as a satellite event. This new fair, curated by a group of local galleries, seeks to provide a more personalized and thoughtfully arranged experience than typical convention-center exhibitions. It will take place at West Canal Yards, designed by Graham Baba Architects, showcasing atrium spaces that embody the essence of the Pacific Northwest. Unlike conventional booths, Assembly will feature a curated exhibition format. The inaugural event will include nine participating galleries, such as Traver Gallery and Greg Kucera Gallery. Organizers will select exhibitors for this invitational fair, aiming to enhance Seattle's cultural scene and cater to its growing collector base.
