ASMP's MSP Squared: 75 Photographers, 24 Hours, $10,000 in Prizes
The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) is organizing its MSP Squared event on October 23 and 24 in Minneapolis. This exciting event will feature 75 photographers, who will spend 24 hours capturing and editing images across various areas in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Sponsored by Adobe and Fujifilm, it blends a photography contest with community activities, including group editing sessions, food trucks, and live judging. ASMP’s CEO, Thomas Maddrey, and COO, Melanie Porter, will be there. Competitors can enter six categories, with a total of $10,000 in prizes, including a Best In Show award. Entry fees range from $39 for students to $119 for non-members. A $24.95 photo book will be available afterward. This event marks ASMP's return to City Squared activities since 2019.
