Artissima and The Others Announce 2026 Editions in Turin

festival-fair · 2026-07-14

Turin's Contemporary Art Week will return from October 29 to November 1, 2026, with two major art fairs: Artissima and The Others. Artissima's 33rd edition, directed by Luigi Fassi, adopts the theme "Fancy: A Flexible, Acrobatic Body," inspired by philosopher Martha C. Nussbaum, emphasizing imagination as a critical and political exercise. The fair maintains its curated sections and international focus. The Others, celebrating its 15th edition, moves to a new venue at Parcheggio Lancia in the Borgo San Paolo district, embracing the theme "Sosta Temporanea. Forme di permanenza in uno spazio di passaggio" (Temporary Stop. Forms of Permanence in a Space of Passage). The fair will transform the former car park's ground floor into an exhibition space, continuing its tradition of intervening in unconventional urban spaces. Together, the two events reinforce Turin's role as a European hub for contemporary art, offering complementary approaches: Artissima as an international curatorial platform, The Others as an independent, experimental fair.
