Arte vivo en la plaza returns to Madrid region in summer 2026
In the summer of 2026, the Comunidad de Madrid plans to unveil the second edition of "Arte vivo en la plaza," featuring live art displays in public squares throughout eleven municipalities. Featured artists include Mónica Murga, Sara Gema, Mocholi, Yolanda Andrés, and Julio Linares, who will present their work to engage local communities. The events are scheduled in towns such as Belmonte del Tajo, Buitrago del Lozoya, and Chinchón, among others. Each free performance will last approximately 90 minutes, fostering a celebration of creativity and interactive artistic expression in these vibrant public spaces.
