Art Innovation Gallery: Bringing Contemporary Art to Urban Billboards

Francesca Boffetti established Art Innovation Gallery, which repurposes urban billboards in cities such as New York, Hong Kong, Miami, and Milan into venues for exhibitions. In a conversation with exibart.com, she elaborates on the gallery's goal of embedding artistic research within public environments, emphasizing cultural significance over financial profit. Since its inception in 2021, the gallery has embraced digital, 3D, and Web3 art, moving away from the NFT craze to focus on quality and sustainable value. Boffetti asserts that while AI can boost creativity, it cannot substitute for the critical thinking of artists. She refers to the gallery’s initiatives as "Public Art 2.0" and mentions forthcoming projects in Nashville, Boston, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and New York. Boffetti earned a Visual Arts degree from Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and launched Art Innovation srl in 2022.
