Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend 2026 Opens with 60 Galleries Across Six Districts
Yesterday marked the commencement of the 17th Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend, which will continue until September 13. This year, 60 galleries are participating, located in neighborhoods such as Centro, Salesas, Lavapiés, Chamberí, Salamanca, and Carabanchel. Since its inception in 2009, the event has been organized by Arte Madrid, signaling the beginning of the gallery season.
