AltrArt 2024: Three Live Arts Proposals Explore Invisibility at La Casa Elizalde, Barcelona
The third installment of AltrArt will take place at La Casa Elizalde in Barcelona from September 14 to 16. This edition showcases three projects that delve into the boundaries of perception via fiction, memory, and technology. It begins with LAIES – Les invisibilitzades, presented by Col·lectiu Reskate, which reflects on the displacement of Santa Eulàlia for La Mercè. Alba G. Corral’s Jardí interior explores the invisibility of digital images through generative programming and drawing. Following this is Coses que cauen del cel by Dora Cantero, inspired by a meteorite that fell in Murcia in 1858, intertwining history with creativity. The event concludes with A Taste of Nature, a collaboration between Corral and musician Björt Rùnars, which combines visuals and cello through digital transformation, highlighting the influence of contemporary art on perception.
