ALMAAHH and MFAH Open Call for Harvest/Cosecha Fall Festival 2026
The Latino Museum of Cultural and Visual Arts and Archive Complex, also known as ALMAAHH, is inviting local artists to submit proposals for public art exhibits for a festival hosted by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in the fall of 2026. The festival, titled Harvest/Cosecha, will celebrate Texas and Gulf Coast cultural heritage. Houston-based Latinx artists can apply to create large sculptures, with four selected for display in the MFAH Cullen Sculpture Garden from November 8 to 15. Applications are due by August 3, with the selection announced on August 19 and studio visits happening from September 25 to 27.
