Alcova Returns to Milano Design Week 2026 with Unusual Venue and Diverse Design Installations
At the 2026 Milano Design Week, Alcova took place at the Military Hospital in Baggio, featuring a range of design initiatives. The AA Architectural Association unveiled a double shelter. Alvaro Catalan de Ocon showcased the Ibisi series, crafted from bamboo, papyrus, and recycled plastic, along with the Gurunsi series, which draws inspiration from Frafra architecture. M/U Mariantonia Urru presented creations by Anna Galtarossa, while Chen Furong's Harper series highlighted floral patterns. Christoph Wimmer Ruelland investigated the ecological effects of mass production. Design Academy Eindhoven's Inframezzo explored the intersection of design and life.
