AFTRS 2026 Digital Futures Summit: Regenerate
The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) will host its sixth annual Digital Futures Summit on 25 June 2026, a free online event themed 'Regenerate'. The summit features three sessions exploring regeneration in screen and audio industries, with speakers including Canadian digital documentary pioneer Katerina Cizek, game developer Naphtali Faulkner, Gamilaraay and Mandandanji creative director Jake Duczynski, and climate justice advocate Tory Stephens. Sessions cover worldbuilding, AI and ancestral intelligence, and producer strategies. AFTRS CEO Dr Nell Greenwood and Head of Research Dr Alejandra Canales highlighted the focus on restoration and systemic transformation.
