Adobe Updates Lightroom, Photoshop with AI-Assisted Culling and Reflection Removal

Adobe has released new Creative Cloud updates for Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere, adding more user control to AI features. In Lightroom, the AI-assisted culling tool, first shown at Adobe MAX in October, is now fully available. It evaluates each person in a photo independently for open and sharp eyes, automatically stacks similar images, and suggests the strongest one. Users can customize filters and adjust the strength of the system. Lightroom also introduces a Photo to Video feature using Firefly and Google Veo to generate motion from stills, and an AI Sharpen tool integrating Topaz Labs' Noise-Aware Sharpen model. Additionally, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Adobe Camera Raw now support Sony a7R VI RAW formats, including Compressed and Compressed HQ. In Photoshop, Reflection Removal now isolates reflections on a separate layer for opacity control, and the Remove Tool can be used offline with an on-device AI model. Premiere updates include faster AI masking, Global Audio Mute, single-word captioning, and improved Stock Panel integration. All updates are rolling out this week.
