Adana Architecture Festival Returns with Nilüfer Kozikoğlu as Curator

festival-fair · 2026-09-28

The third edition of the Adana Architecture Festival, organized by the Adana branch of the Chamber of Architects, will take place at the Adana Museum from October 15 to 17, 2026. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Celal Abdi Güzer and curated by architect Nilüfer Kozikoğlu, this year's festival centers on the theme "Fictitious: narratives of materials and structures." The event brings together architecture, design, art, and other cultural disciplines. Established as an annual platform for exchange on contemporary architectural practice, education, and culture, the Adana Arch Fest gathers leading voices from Turkey's architectural scene alongside collaborators from related fields. Its first two editions featured architects, educators, and professionals whose work has helped shape contemporary architecture in Turkey. For the third edition, curator Nilüfer Kozikoğlu approaches architecture through the idea of the fictitious: the ways architecture constructs, transforms, and reinterprets reality through material, structure, imagination, and context. The festival was published on September 28, 2026.
