Abe Pazos Solatie Presents Voice-to-Drawing Installation at Milan's Festival della Peste

Artist Abe Pazos Solatie presented an interactive installation titled 'The Resonating Ink of Our Words' at the Festival della Peste in Milan from November 5-9, 2025. The work invited participants to record brief vocal statements on themes of Power and Pleasure, which were then analyzed by custom software and transformed into visual patterns drawn by a pen plotter on paper. The artist explained his focus on algorithmic rules derived solely from vocal analysis, avoiding mathematical randomness, to explore whether differences in speech about the two themes could be discerned in the resulting drawings. The project generated nearly 200 recordings and three collaborative drawings totaling approximately four meters in length, with strong public engagement at the festival.
