7th Format Court Festival Showcases Short Films at Studio des Ursulines

The 7th edition of the Festival Format Court will take place from April 8 to 12, 2026 at Studio des Ursulines in Paris. The event features a competition of 23 short films highlighting contemporary creation, along with a masterclass by filmmaker Carine Tardieu, thematic sessions on Iranian cinema and secrets/taboos, and a Paris City showcase. The festival aims to create dialogue between works, filmmakers, and audiences through its curated program. Poster artwork is by cinematographer Ambroise Pujo, winner of the previous edition's image prize.
