77th Cannes Film Festival announces full lineup with Coppola, Sorrentino, and Miller

The 77th Cannes Film Festival is set to take place from May 14 to 25, 2024, along the Croisette. The festival will kick off with Quentin Dupieux's 'Le Deuxième Acte,' featuring Léa Seydoux and Vincent Lindon, and Camille Cottin will serve as the mistress of ceremonies. In the competition lineup, Francis Ford Coppola's 'Megalopolis' will be shown on May 17, followed by George Miller's 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga' on May 19, and Kevin Costner's 'Horizon – An American.' Italy will be represented by Roberto Minervini's 'The Damned' and Paolo Sorrentino's 'Parthenope.' The complete Competition lineup consists of 22 films, including contributions from Ali Abbasi, David Cronenberg, and Yorgos Lanthimos. 'Furiosa' and 'Horizon' will be featured Out of Competition, while Un Certain Regard will present 20 films.
