45 Artists Transform Tandil Housing Estate with Magic-Themed Murals

In Tandil, Buenos Aires, a housing estate got a stunning makeover thanks to over 40 talented artists, including Seba Cener, Chax Crea, and Mocha, who painted enchanting murals. This street art festival took place over two days and was organized by local artist Ceb, also known as Camila Calderón, along with Juan Iriberri from the CASLA football school. The event featured live music from various genres like folklore and rock. After the pandemic, Ceb aimed to enhance the 10-meter-high walls of the buildings. An open call attracted 45 artists, with a magical theme inspired by Tandil's charm and the famous illusionist René Lavand. Ceb noted the murals are making a positive difference in the community and included a workshop where neighbors shared maté and food.
