25th International Art and Technology Conference in Brasília Opens Submissions
Hey! So, the call for submissions for the 25th International Art and Technology Meeting, or #25.ART, is currently open and will close on June 30, 2026. This event is set for September 2026 in Brasília and will coincide with the EmMeio#18 exhibition at the Museu Nacional da República and SESI Lab. The theme this year is GA.IA, which explores how nature, AI, and humanity interact, inspired by James Lovelock’s Gaia theory and expanded by Lúcia Santaella. There are eight categories for submissions, like academic research, artistic works, workshops, and audiovisual projects. Selected entries will be showcased on a museum LED panel, with five winners receiving R$ 6,000 and potential inclusion in a digital collection. The workshops at SESI Lab will focus on digital fabrication and design thinking. Since its start in 2002, this meeting has become a key event in Brazil for art, science, and technology, supported by various institutions like the University of Brasília, CAPES, and Banco Itaú.
