10th Berlin Biennale Reveals Artist List for 2018 Edition

The upcoming 10th Berlin Biennale, themed "We don’t need another hero," will take place from June 9 to September 9, 2018. Curated by Gabi Ngcobo and her collaborators, the exhibition examines the concept of saviors while exploring geopolitical transformations and the significance of personal resilience. Gabriele Horn leads the event, hosted across four prominent venues: Akademie der Künste, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Volksbühne Pavilion, and ZK/U – Center for Art and Urbanistics. Featuring 55 artists, notable participants include Ana Mendieta, Lubaina Himid, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Oscar Murillo, and Simone Leigh.
