THUG CLUB: Seoul Streetwear Brand Blends Biker Armor and Hip-Hop From Viral Boxers to adidas

Founded in Seoul in 2018 by Yeong Min Cho, known online as Thug Min, THUG CLUB grew outside conventional fashion circuits by fusing hip-hop culture, motorcycle subcultures and a punk attitude that rejects polished conformity. Kwon Jiyool joined in 2021 to shape the creative direction. The label's wardrobe runs on washed denim, wide trousers, structured hoodies, leather jackets and metal hardware, with exaggerated proportions and decorative details evoking armor and protective gear. A 2021 pair of boxers printed with the explicit phrase Suck My Dick on the waistband went viral, turning provocation into instant recognizability; A$AP Rocky, SZA, DaBaby and Central Cee are among the artists who boosted its visibility. In July 2023 the brand opened its first flagship, TC Castle, in Seoul's Itaewon district, a space built around the logo and music. That same year it collaborated with MCM on denim pieces and with Gentle Monster on sunglasses. A capsule with adidas Originals launched exclusively in South Korea before a 2025 global release reworking sportswear silhouettes with asymmetric zips, studded details and fencing references drawn from Kwon Jiyool's youth practice of the sport, plus a high-top take on the Superstar. The TC logo anchors a coherent visual identity across garments and accessories.
