Stefano Monti Calls for Regulating Interdisciplinary Experiences to Put Human Beings at the Center
In an opinion article for Artribune, Stefano Monti advocates for the reevaluation of artificial divisions among sport, culture, education, and social interaction. He points to interdisciplinary initiatives such as Football Beyond Borders in the UK, social football, and Dance Well in Bassano del Grappa. Monti references grassroots efforts like Erasmus+Sport, Erasmus+ Giovani, Creative Europe calls, Cultura e Salute, and Fondazione con il Sud. He urges the establishment of a cohesive operational framework with shared goals and metrics, drawing inspiration from Wales's Well-being of Future Generations model. For Italy, he suggests 'Patti territoriali per il benessere' to consolidate existing planning documents into a single framework with well-being indicators, stressing the importance of a coordinated policy aimed at justifying actions rather than simply allocating funds.
