Minwoo Lee, artista ed educatore di Houston, ha appena ricevuto il Paula Riff Award 2024. Questo premio, istituito nel 2021 da Lenscratch e dal Center of Photographic Art, onora lo spirito innovativo della defunta fotografa sperimentale Paula Riff. Riconosce artisti che spingono i confini della fotografia con tecniche artigianali. Diane Chung della Chung 24 Gallery ha scelto Lee per il suo approccio unico che fonde osservazione e profondità emotiva, impiegando metodi tradizionali e nuovi materiali. Le sue opere 'Cadastral (Error)' e 'Parcel, Misfolded' sono esposte nella mostra 'Changing the Narrative: The First 5 Years of Paula Riff Award Winners' al Center for Photographic Art di Carmel, aperta fino al 26 luglio 2026.
