Lucien Smith, pittore e fondatore di Serving the People, muore a 37 anni
Il 7 settembre 2023, Lucien Smith, artista multidisciplinare, è scomparso a New York all'età di 37 anni. Nato a Los Angeles nel 1989 dall'artista Terrence Sanders-Smith e dalla stilista Vivien Ramsay, il background diversificato di Smith ha plasmato la sua identità artistica. Ha conseguito il BFA alla The Cooper Union nel 2011, dove la sua mostra di tesi, "Imagined Nostalgia", ha ricevuto notevole attenzione. La sua prima mostra personale, "Good Vibrations", si è tenuta nel 2012.
