Il teatro australiano piange la lighting designer visionaria Rachel Burke
Rachel Burke, rinomata lighting designer australiana, è scomparsa alla fine di luglio 2026 all'età di 59 anni. Nel corso della sua impressionante carriera trentennale, ha ricevuto 13 Green Room Awards ed è stata nominata per due Helpmann Awards. Tra i suoi progetti significativi figurano The Glass Mermaid (1994), My Sister Jill, Wittenoom (2023), Meow Meow's The Red Shoes e Yentl. Burke è stata Senior Associate presso Relume Consulting e ha collaborato con Electrolight su iniziative chiave come il masterplan dell'illuminazione per l'Arts Centre Melbourne (2007) e l'AAMI Park.
