ZIAD Designs Tiansong Headquarters in Wenling, China

ZIAD has designed the Tiansong headquarters in Wenling, Taizhou, China, located at the confluence of the old town and new urban district in the Chengxi subdistrict. The fragmented urban fabric prompted a design that embodies the corporate spirit of craftsmanship precision and openness. Two bar-shaped office volumes are organized along two city axes, with axial twisting and volumetric expansion and contraction creating a restrained yet distinctive landmark at the intersection. A transparent atrium is enclosed within, providing cohesive order to the composition. The project opens to the city: the main entrance along the arterial road combines with a public plaza, offering a welcoming leisure space for citizens. On the north side, the terrain's elevation changes are leveraged to create a commercial terrace. The secondary access further integrates the building with its surroundings.
