Z Behl and Kim Moloney Paddle 350 Miles Up the Erie Canal for 'Mule's Passage'

Artists Z Behl and Kim Moloney are undertaking a five-week, 350-mile journey paddling up the Erie Canal as part of their project 'Mule's Passage.' They spend six hours a day on the water and camp along the way. The project is featured in a Hyperallergic newsletter, which also highlights other stories: Michelle Millette's Sherwood Forest Zine Library in Austin, Texas, housing 3,000 zines; a feature on Liberian fannuh baskets and their connection to Gullah sweetgrass basketry in the US Lowcountry, written by Bilphena Decontee Yahwon as part of the Craft Archive Fellowship with the Center for Craft; the Minnesota State Fair removing an anti-Trump crop artwork after the artist was harassed; a guide to 15 art shows in Los Angeles this fall; and an archive piece on Louise Bourgeois.
