Yuko Mohri's Kinetic Survey 'Entanglements' Opens at Centro Botín

From March 28 to September 6, 2026, Centro Botín in Santander will host 'Entanglements,' an exhibition spotlighting Japanese artist Yuko Mohri at a pivotal point in her career. The opening event will feature 'Piano Solo: Costa Quebrada' (2026), where audio of ocean waves triggers a piano sound via speakers. The show will include works from 2004 onward, like 'Flutter' (2018/25), which merges a fish tank with a Yamaha reed organ, and 'I/O' (2011–), a notable installation with scanners and debris. Also on display will be three versions of the 'Moré Moré (Leaky)' series (2018–), including the new 'Moré Moré (Leaky): Fountain' (2025). Two fresh paintings on speaker cover canvas (2025–26) are inspired by Cy Twombly. Mohri’s art blends found objects with Zen ideas and playful Duchamp influences.
