Young Collector Annie Taylor on Breaking Art and Building Patronage

Annie Taylor, a 31-year-old collector from New York and director of her family's charitable foundation, is highlighted in CULTURED's 2026 Young Collectors series. She holds positions on the advisory board and contemporary art committee at the Brooklyn Museum, co-chairs the Apollo Circle at the Met, and is part of the board and acquisitions committee at the Bronx Museum. Taylor shares a story about accidentally damaging a Ben Cowan painting shortly after buying it, which led to a friendship with the artist. She credits Danielle Falls for guiding her through the art scene.
