Yorkville Murals Festival Names Shauna Levy as New Director and Sets 2026 Schedule

The Yorkville Murals Festival (YVM) has appointed Shauna Levy as its Festival Director, with the change taking effect immediately. Levy is a prominent figure in Canada's art and design scene, known for her work as a cultural strategist and creative producer across various sectors. Her professional background includes co-founding the Interior Design Show (IDS), holding the CEO position at the Design Exchange (DX), initiating EDIT: Expo for Design, Innovation and Technology, and managing arts and cultural initiatives for Freed Developments. In her new role, Levy will collaborate with Founder and Creative Director Alan Ganev to grow the festival's reach, enhance partnerships and sponsorships, and investigate possibilities for replicating the festival's format in other urban centers. The festival has also confirmed its dates for 2026.
