YOOX x SLEEK Host Italian Cocktail at Schattenlos Atelier During Berlin Art Week

During Berlin Art Week, YOOX and SLEEK hosted an Italian Cocktail event at Schattenlos Atelier, located near the former Stasi prison in Hohenschönhausen. The atelier, whose name means "shadowless" in German, aims to create a space defined by light and openness. The evening featured the work of Italian sculptor and painter Gabriella Furno, who divides her time between Palermo and Berlin. Furno's sculptures, which explore human dignity and vulnerability, are informed by migration stories from Palermo's Ballarò neighbourhood. Her paintings depict intertwined figures in eccentric, feverish colours. Materials such as soil from Pantelleria are incorporated into her work. Attendees included perfumer Geza Schoen, content creator Alina Kossan, and model Maximilian Kreiner. Performer Alvin Collantes presented a live work exploring ritual and spectacle, visibility and disappearance, vulnerability and resistance.
