David Hockney Dies at 88, Leaving a Legacy of Color and Queer Visibility

British artist David Hockney died at age 88 last week. Known for sun-bleached California pool scenes, psychological portraits, and digital experiments, he was a pioneer of LGBTQ+ representation in art.
