Yond Interiors Transforms New Hampshire Horse Barn into Layered Family Retreat
Yond Interiors has converted a former horse barn in New Hampshire into a charming retreat featuring three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The barn, which was relocated to the site years ago, showcases its vibrant electric green exterior alongside a rustic wood interior. Julia Miller, the founder of Yond Interiors, sought to soften the barn’s inherent character. Original columns and beams remain in the living area, complemented by wallpaper, including a duck motif in the powder room. The kitchen boasts green backsplash tiles from Lucy McMillan, stone countertops, and Arc Dome pendant lights. Custom furnishings from Yond's sister brand, Brunel, include an ash dining table and vintage lounge chairs, while textile art introduces vibrant colors and textures, inviting exploration through the evolving New England landscape.
