Yishu Editor Keith Wallace Joins Art Basel Hong Kong Panel on Art Criticism's Future

Keith Wallace, the Editor-in-Chief of Yishu, participated in a discussion at Art Basel Hong Kong on March 31, 2018. The panel, titled "Art Criticism and Critical Writing: Where to Now?", was moderated by independent curator and critic Hera Chan from Hong Kong. Wallace was joined by several other editors from publications specializing in contemporary Asian art: Elaine W. Ng of ArtAsiaPacific (Hong Kong), Daniel Szehin Ho of Ran Dian (Hong Kong), and Bhavna Kakar of TAKE (New Delhi). The conversation explored the current state and future directions of art criticism and critical writing. Stephanie Bailey, who curated the Conversations and Salon Programme for Art Basel Hong Kong, was also present. The event brought together key voices from leading art publications across Asia to examine critical discourse in the region.
