Words Matter Inaugural Exhibition at Arthouse in Marble Falls

Arthouse, a new gallery in Marble Falls, Texas, opened by collectors Mickey and Jeanne Klein, presents its inaugural exhibition "Words Matter," featuring works from their collection where text is central. The show includes pieces by Jeffrey Gibson, Jenny Holzer, Ann Hamilton, Kenturah Davis, Terry Allen, Ed Ruscha, Sharin Neshat, Faith Ringgold, Russell Young, Robert Rauschenberg, Jose Toirac, Nicholas Galanin, Mary C. Sloane, and Mr. Brainwash. Highlights include Allen's drawings pairing body parts with narrative text, Ruscha's typographic works, Holzer's truisms on wood and marble, Ringgold's "Hate is Sin" on a confederate flag, and Galanin's "Indianland" photograph referencing the Hollywood sign. The exhibition runs through summer 2026. Future shows include a fall photography exhibition and a winter Japanese ceramics display.
