WIRED's Katie Drummond on Interviewing Nathan Fielder About His Elizabeth Holmes Documentary

Katie Drummond, the global editorial director at WIRED, signed a non-disclosure agreement prior to learning that Nathan Fielder's covert project was a film. She revealed insights during an episode of WIRED's Uncanny Valley podcast. Only a small audience previewed You Can See Everything before its unveiling at the Telluride Film Festival, having been kept secret for three years. Co-directed by Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the film chronicles Fielder's month spent in Elizabeth Holmes' residence prior to her 2022 conviction for defrauding Theranos investors. Drummond's ninety-minute interview with Fielder highlighted his hesitance to discuss personal emotions. WIRED also featured an article by Adam Rogers praising Theranos. Furthermore, Anthropic committed 5% of its shares to an AI labor market fund, and Elon Musk vowed to give one SpaceX share to every American child. A WIRED investigation uncovered suspicious letters sent to election offices in 32 states ahead of the midterms, including one that contained white powder.
