Wilnsdorf Primary School and Sports Pavilion by BUERO BB Opens 2026 in Western Germany

Nestled on a forested slope in western Germany, the Wilnsdorf Primary School features a blend of timber, local precast concrete, and recycled materials from a nearby demolished viaduct. Designed by BUERO BB, this educational facility spans an area of 4,600 m² and is set for completion in 2026. Dr. Mirko Immendörfer heads the project, supported by a design team that includes Franziska Kroll, Mirijam Schleßmann, Toni Maier, and others. Main architects are Julie Scheffler, Jakob Bickel, and Prof. Michael Bertsch, with Architektur Immendörfer also involved. Structural engineering is managed by Engelsmann Peters GmbH, while G-TEC Ingenieure GmbH oversees MEP. Thorsten Wagener is responsible for project management, and landscape architecture is provided by Klaus Saur and Doris Herrmann.
