WilkinsonEyre completes CIBC Square with elevated park in Toronto

WilkinsonEyre has finished the second phase of CIBC Square in Toronto, adding a 250-metre skyscraper at 141 Bay Street and an elevated park linking both towers. The first tower, 81 Bay Street, was completed in 2022. Both buildings feature convex diamond glass facades and serve as the headquarters for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. The sky park, designed with landscape architects Public Work, spans the rail corridor and will open later this year. The development includes transit upgrades near Union Station. WilkinsonEyre director Dominic Bettison said the project rethinks how commercial developments can integrate transit, landscape, and public space.
